折り紙 / "Oru" folding "kami" paper = Origami. These elegant 折鶴 Orizuru - folded cranes - made by my teacher, Miyoko Wheeler, for us students and presented at the end of our final class. What a graceful gesture. The Japanese believe anyone who folds a thousand origami cranes (千羽鶴 Senbazuru) will be granted a wish by the Gods. 貴重なお時間を頂き／さいて頂き有り難うございました。
